A The Lancet című rangos tudományos folyóiratban megjelent tanulmány szerzői szerint kutatásaik megerősítik a második adag fontosságát.
Hét nappal a második adag után a fertőzés elleni védelem 95,3 százalékra emelkedik. A teljesen beoltott betegek halálozásának kockázata 96,7 százalékkal csökken. A kórházi kezelés kockázata is csökken, 97,2 százalékkal.
"Eddig a világ egyetlen országa sem írta le a covid-19 elleni országos oltási kampány népegészségügyi hatásait.
Összegzés a tanulmány alapján
Az 1. adag Pfizer / BioNTech vakcina után :
- a vakcina 58% -os védelmet nyújt a SARS-Cov-2 fertőzés ellen
- a kórházi kezelés kockázata 76 százalékkal csökken
- halálozás kockázata 77 százalékkal csökken
Az 2. adag Pfizer / BioNTech vakcina után:
- 7 nappal a 2. adag után a fertőzés elleni védelem 95,3 százalékra emelkedik
- a kórházi kezelés kockázata csökken 97,2 százalékkal
